Raw & Shelled Hemp Hearts

Hemp Hearts are a great way to add some healthy fats (omega 3 & 6), protein and iron to a vegan diet. With a faintly nutty taste and rich texture when blended, hemp hearts are easy to incorporate into a variety of snacks and meals. They’re significantly higher in protein than chia and ulike chia seeds, they don’t require being ground for optimal nutrient absorption. We still recommend consuming both regularly though.

Tip for incorporating hemp hearts into your diet: Sprinkle them onto salads or bowls, add them to homemade vegan parmesan recipes, add 1-2 tablespoons into your smoothies, add them in oatmeal, homemade granola or sprinkle them over yogurt.
